Chapter 1: How life is like

Can someone find what they want to do in life without Christianity? Without religion in general? One person cannot do so, as he is trapped in a society where everything must focus on God. Everything must be centered around Him, otherwise, the thing is considered a sin. It could be years, decades even, until the main character, Francis Paulson, gets even a miniscule sense of what it truly is to be free.
