Taylor and Travis have been dating for a little over seven months, and everything is going well. Until one fateful night, Taylor gets a phone call that will change their lives forever.

Avery is your typical 9 year old girl. She loves cats, books, and listening to music. She gets good grades at school and just moved up to a more advanced ballet class. Oh yeah, and her cousin is Taylor Swift.

When tragedy strikes and Avery ends up in the care of Taylor and Travis, her entire life is flipped upside down in an instant. Will she be able to adjust to her new normal?
