Prologue

Matthew Newman never imagined that love could be so complicated. When he prayed for a wife he did not picture that he would fall for Savannah O'Brien. She was fierce, beautiful, and a handful. Their personalities did not match and the baggage of her past made her question love. But his heart yearned for her and this was the woman God led him to. Matthew felt conflicted that he fell in love with a woman who was his complete opposite. However, he saw the inner beauty, strength, warmth, and kindness emanating from her. He did not know where this love would lead him but he was quite sure God was ordering his steps.
