Prologue

One night stand gone wrong, Xavier Burton's crystal clear life suddenly finds itself among a bundle of smudge. He could've entertained himself entirely if the subject of his troubles were as troubled by him as he was of her. But, Carol Hamley had only given him what that had always kept him on edge; rollercoaster of betrayals. Being the stubborn creature he was, he had never learnt to back down.
