Description
chapter 1 "all hail to the true king may he live til his final days" that's the last thing I heard before the explosion. I got separated from my mother she wanted to be at the back of the crowd, but I wanted to see prince Alistair so I slipped away to the front of the crowd. while I waited for him to show I heard some of the elders say that he was "the kings bastard" and that "he has no right to the throne". all I cared about was to see the prince up close I was tired of just getting a glimpse of him at the castle. all I wanted was to see him! Now I can't hear out of my left ear or find my mother. I guess that I passed out because some men in royal guard armor put the tip of his sword to my gullet. he said in a mean rough voice "what is your name what did you see elf. Tell me!" I replied in my begging voice "tweet sir and all I heard and saw was the explosion after the crowned prince Alistair" "he is not the prince he's the king's bastard. he has no right to that throne you should die for believing in that and I might just kill you for being a damned elf child." "how old are you, anyway" said a clearly drunken idiot with a shaky sword hand. "eighteen . why?" i'm to scared to think of my combat training with the nice guards. "can we keep her I have a few ideas of how we can use her." my eyes widened "no you don't want me I cant walk" I lied" and i'm not that good in health" I faked coughing. "but with you there will be no more" said the mean man. he raised his sword to try and kill me. but I dodged his blow and ran as fast as I could. when I passed the city gates that's when I knew I was safe. safe what a funny word now . I don't think any one can be safe now.
