"I would rather embrace the hand of death than hold yours," Jullian murmured, his voice laced with sharpness and his eyes betraying a hidden fear, no matter how hard he tried to conceal it. Delrune's steps were measured, calmly striding towards Jullian. But Jullian was consumed by such overwhelming terror that he could barely walk with composure. "I don't want you to touch me either," Delrune whispered, his words reaching only Jullian's ears. Jullian glanced back in panic, causing him to stumble and collapse onto the ground. His Adam's apple bobbed as he swallowed hard, his confidence crumbling along with his crown. A victorious smirk played on Delrune's lips. As Jullian fell, he instinctively began crawling backward, clutching at anything within his grasp - dry leaves, stones, and dust - desperately trying to put distance between himself and the demon king who held the power to do as he pleased with Jullian. In the heart of the forest, Jullian was utterly alone, trapped with the malevolent demon king, aware that his fate rested solely in the hands of the demon king.
