Description
Samil, the God of Festivals and the Arts, knows he isn't all that powerful. Or important. And a lot of the other gods don't really like him. Plus, he's only on the Celestial Council, the entity in charge of the gods' city, on a technicality. Yet, it's as part of the Council that he first learns the humans need help. The Goddess of Death's mortal form has been killed and she's running rampant. The mortals need the aid of the immortals to prevent mass devastation, but Samil is the only one to heed their call. As he faces off against Death herself with the help of a no-nonsense mortal who can be rude sometimes, Samil is armed with only his good intentions and his tendency to see the best in those around him. He may just be the savior the humans need, and maybe he'll find love with the last goddess he'd expect in the process. Maybe.
