Tate was just your average shut in that would rather stay in all summer than go hang out with the friends she didn't have. She was not her sister Lexi. Lexi had the grades and the fun job and partied when she wasn't working. But this summer would be different (not entirely her choice of course) after an estranged Grandma had a nice little house by the sea that she needed someone to watch over. When her new temporary neighbors for the summer have a happy go lucky, golden retriever energy son that pushes her out of her comfort zone what will happen?
