Description
It is a fight of and for love. Alias Solado and Lilly Avante have grown up together as next door neighbors, as best friends, as fated soulmates (even if they don't know it yet). Alias is enrolled in the Marine Corps and is venturing off into the military life, away from parents, away from his home, his family, and most heartbreakingly away from his best friend, but alas a force from within summons him to make such a choice and he finds that sense of belonging in the Corps that he hasn't allowed himself to fully feel anywhere else. This story progresses over Alias' life in the military and away from Lilly while we also see Lilly's life and development without Alias. We see them apart, coming together, and the ups and downs of breathing in the presence of love.
