"I'm pregnant Francis" Erika uttered nervously as she carefully watched his reaction. She clasped her hand anticipating the worst. He looked at her dead in the eye. "Are you sure it's mine?" Francis blurted out. She felt a stab in her chest recognizing his denial. What do I expect in a one-night stand? She thought bitterly. "It doesn't matter if you believe me or not, I'm just letting you know" she finally responded. Erika then turned around wanting to get away from that place at the soonest possible time, she was almost at the door when Francis spoke again. "I need a paternity test first and let's see by then if what you are carrying is my child" he uttered with authority. She then stared at him realizing her mistake of crossing a man like Francis Gutierrez. She gulped knowing there was no one to blame but herself.
