The pirate Sally Bertha was captain on the famous ship Sweet Princess. After an attack by the dreaded kraken, the crew split up. More than half of the crew died, the other half split up and ended up in various pirate occupied cities. Sally herself was stranded on a deserted island. She barely manages to escape to the mainland. To Lapetown, the town where "normal" people set foot. One day the magical necklace she got from her lost father started playing, he's alive and in danger. With the rum in her pocket, Sally begins a journey to recover her crew, her ship and her missing father
