Nothing but some demons having a little too much fun.
In and out, like they had done so many times.

After Dean's death and the disappearance of his body, Sam is left broken. He shuts everyone out and dedicates all of his time to hunting, trying desperately to distract himself from the overwhelming emptiness he felt.
In his grief, he forgot about the one person who could've shared in his pain, who was suffering alongside him.
Castiel never gave up. He was determined to find a way to bring Dean back. He never stopped searching for the long-lost hunter.

He wasn't expecting Dean Winchester to find him first.
