Description
During the Blood Moon the Lunar court holds a race, sending it's contestants down into Midnight. A place that holds no sympathy for those who would dare to descend into its blinding darkness. Anyone can compete, but only those who are worthy of being one of the Lunafreya's sentinels will reach the other side. For Yara, winning the Lunar races is her only escape from her life in the Dawn quarters. An island that divides the Lunar court from the Helios court, where both day and night collide, creating a society of outcasts who don't quite fit in with either courts. Yara must win the race, not just for herself but for her mother, who in the week running up to the Lunar Races goes missing. With no evidence left behind, except the crest of a Lunafreya sentinel, Yara must delve into Midnight, if she wishes to find answers on the other side. However, to win, she must face Midnight and the monstrous entities that dwell within its depths, along side the other contestants who are just as desperate to win as she is, if not more. Midnight is a place of fear and nightmares, the only way to survive it is to become one with its never ending night.
Chapter One - No Man's Land
