you carried the open wound as a reminder of your pain,
four hundred years from now, you stood in front of the very thing that ruined your life, young and innocent it was, nothing compared to it's ancestors, as if the child was a
fresh start- a new beginning to an ending of a chapter
that you didn't want to close.
