Chapter 1: A Hard Enough Life.

The story follows a team of heroes led by Kurtz, who are struggling with the aftermath of a crisis. The Garrison has been weakened, with many of its powerful members incapacitated. Clay, a former villain now known as Boundless, has recently joined the team. Despite initial distrust, Boundless proves his worth by quickly handling various crises and establishing himself as a significant force in the superhero community. He uses his abilities to contain villains and restore order, even turning junkyards into valuable resources and starting philanthropic projects.
