Description
A story about Serena Blackwood, a vampire. I would like to state that they are all in high school and are all around 17 years old, Serena included. Now, unlike most universes with monster, Serena is the only vampire in existence. In fact, she is also the only monster in existence. And, while vampires do drink blood, their bites don't turn the victims into vampires. It kills them. Also, while a vampire would still typically try to avoid the sun, they can survive it. Too bad the club she just joined, the Monster Hunters' Club, doesn't know all that. This is the journey of Alex Carter, club captain; Ethan Miller, tech expert; Lila Rodriguez, occult enthusiast; Tyler Morgan, athlete; Aria Sutton, Stealth Specialist; and Oscar Bennett, Intellectual Sleuth, as they grapple with balancing life in Daggerford High School at day and hunting monsters at night. Too bad the only monster to hunt is their new friend. Luckily, they aren't aware of her secret. Yet.... And no monsters actually threaten the school. Or, at least, not yet.... Unfortunately, Serena still must consume blood to survive. I hope that doesn't come back to bite then in the end.
