Prologue

A few years ago, the seniors of Blackmoore High School got together in the wood of the town, and though it was originally a Halloween celebration, it has been talked about for years after for a different reason.

Ellie McAnthony is older now, and she doesn't cry as easily as she did when she was 17. But her pain is still there, and unlucky enough for James Lecky, after all these years its just as fresh.
