Things aren't easy for Jessie. Of all people, she, the shy, helpful, self-critical nerd in school, is being asked out by the most popular boy. In order not to reject him, Jessie tells everyone the lie that she likes girls. She knew it was the stupidest thing she had ever done. What she didn't know was that from now on she would take on a completely new role at school, acquire several interests, make new contacts, suffer discrimination and get into serious danger. Especially when her lie piece by piece becomes reality.

What happens when you lose yourself? And how far will you go for those who mean everything to you?
