Olivia had always known she was different. She had come out as Lesbian a year ago, and while her friends and family had been supportive, she had never really been in a relationship. In fact, she couldn't remember the last time she had even liked someone. With all the rumors floating around school about the new girl joining their year, she had hoped that maybe this year would be different. Maybe this girl would be the one to change everything. Her name was Skylar, and she was fresh out of the Netherlands, only just able to speak English. Olivia had made it her duty to befriend her, to make her feel less alone in this new school and new country. Her friends, Zoe, Charlotte, and Chris, were some of the most important people in her life. They were inseparable, always there for each other through thick and thin. They had watched as Olivia's spark had slowly faded over the months, as she became more and more resigned to the fact that she might always be alone. They had all hoped that she would find someone who would love her for who she was, someone she could be herself around. They knew how much it meant to her, and they wanted nothing more than to see her truly happy again.
