Shipped off to live with his estranged father, Poseidon, in sunny California, Percy must confront the harsh reality of withdrawal, navigate family tensions, and embark on a daunting journey towards recovery. In a twist of fate, he's offered a shot at redemption on the hockey rink, striving to reclaim a passion he lost when kicked off his team. Along the way, Percy encounters Annabeth Chase, his next-door neighbor, adding a new layer of complexity to his journey.
