Description
Levi Scotte (Pronounced Scott) hates the way life has become scripted and unchanged. He's gone numb to the world around him, and can't seem to find a way to feel anything but fear, anxiety, and regret. All he wants is to escape the hold his manipulative and bipolar mother has on him. He's tried of playing the role of the Golden Boy and pretending everything is fine, because to everyone else, his life is fucking perfect. Marcus Parish has always hated change. Nothing good has ever come out of it. Change is how he lost friends before high school could start, its what made his parents get divorced, and its what he fear will bring more bad luck. When his friends suggest changing their friend group up, he doesn't try and make the new comer feel welcomed. But then this perfect seeming boy starts to seem less and less perfect, sparking Marcus' interest in him.
