16-year-old Nina navigates friendship, love and loss as she starts again at college but the trauma of her past continues to haunt her.

Undercurrent is a YA contemporary fiction. It centres around the period of time between GCSEs and college and how you are supposed to feel like an adult but really you're still have no idea what is going on. It has strong themes of friendship, love and loss, as well as a real focus on identity.
