This is the first story I've ever written, so I will apologize in advance for the numerous mistakes that may/will happen. Inspired by the many amazing authors on here who try their best. Hope you guys enjoy! Gazing out unto the ruins of his beloved world, Rimuru Tempest's emotions were like a violent storm, waiting to be unleashed. Unbridled fury and rage mixed with sadness, regret and loneliness. He had failed everyone. He had failed to protect those who meant more to him than his own existence. He had failed to keep his promises to his friends and his people.
