ASH was the only girl among 9 boys who were first sent into the maze, and she was the only one who can keep the balance, not because she's a girl, but she was quick and creative. A figure that embodies peace.

It was her who proposed the idea of establishing a temporary systematic civilisation in order to survive in an open land surrounded with giant walls. That way, everyone should know what roles they play in order to prevent chaos.
