A once glorious and magical town that
overnight found itself turned into the most dreaded of
prisons. A night that stayed to act as custodian with its
everlasting presence. A night that never left. A coveted
place of aspiration turned into a place of avoidance, a
prison with no other quite like it. A nightmare capital
where no passing outsider would ever dream of entering,
and those trapped within could only dream of escaping.
Each home was turned into a cell by that very darkness
and the fears of whatever could be concealed within it;
while a dark forest of crooked and twisted trees that
sprouted that very same night came into being to act as
its outer walls. Thick and powerful trees, each one barely
discernable from the darkness that encouraged it, and all
bent on surrounding every bit of that town......
