In a small city in 1963 France, the idea of mixed schooling was a heavily controversial action amongst the people. Lydia Blanchet, one of the 13 girls attending Voltaire high was in for a nasty welcome when she finally arrived a month late. With his pranks and needless teasing, Joseph Descamps completely infuriated her and she knew he couldn't stand her attending his precious once all boys school. But if that was so true why were they seemingly always together?
