Coming out of a dysfunctional family with rage simmering under her skin, Israh doesn't have much hope for her future. So, when Asad walks into her life with kindness in his eyes and a fierce determination, she doesn't know what to expect other than that he could change any moment; any moment the ugliness would manifest itself and once again, Israh would just have to keep her head lowered and her heart closed off.
