Introduction

Élodie Auclair is one of 12 girls starting at Voltaire High, the first Co-ed school in France in 1963. Élodie struggles to balance this new opportunity as she learns school is not only reading and homework. Descamps, the troubled boy in her class, challenges her patience yet piques her curiosity, in this story filled with with rivalries, angst and vulnerability.
