Sneak peak!

"Vendetta, get over your ego for two seconds and wake up to reality! You need my help, whether you enjoy it or not." A rough male voice bellowed over the sounds of yelling, gunshots, and many other loud noises.

"I will never accept your help Lorenzo! I could be on my deathbed and I would still hate you." She hissed in return,
followed by a wince.

Lorenzo furrowed his eyebrows, and it was the last sight i saw before my vision became obscured with dozens of black dots. My head felt heavy, it felt like I was moving at light speed but also going in slow motion. Then everything around me stopped. The yelling turned into ringing. I could hear my name being called, but it sounded like it was miles away. Then it all stopped, and the last thing I remember was someone screaming my name.
