Lottie Noon wants nothing more than be be a feared film critic. She has passed all her classes, submitted all the essays, worked her ass off, and now she's landed a dream job at The Orb. A prestigious film magazine, and her first job...the premiere of a children's movie.

The year is 1997, the location is The Heart of Africa Zoo in San Diego, and Lottie is about to get more than she bargains for when she meets the star of the movie she is there to critique.
