Prologue

Marni is one of twelve Virtues, but when her younger brother David is dying she goes against everything her parents ever taught her in order to save him. She summons a Devil and sells her soul in exchange for his life. Three years later her time is up and the only person that can help her just happens to be, in her opinion, an asshole. Gabriel likes fast cars, fast women, and fast money. So when Marni offers him over half a million dollars to save her soul he can’t resist taking the job. Yet when his own demons start to catch up with him the task becomes more than paid work; suddenly they’re fighting a war none of them knew existed.
