Description
Kim Minji is a young girl living in Korea. She has a quiet homelife, studies hard, and has caring parents. She was content - for the most part. Yet her family struggled to make ends meet. One day she comes home from school. She was about to let herself into her dingy home, only to spot a notice pinned to her front door. She gingerly peels it off, squinting at the block red print, processing. A notice of eviction. "Shit" she cursed under her breath, panic rising in her gut. Minji runs inside, telling her parents - she anxiously stuffs the letter into their hands. Minji's parents both look at each other at the same time, speaking with their eyes. She furrowed her eyebrows... what were they saying? Suddenly her father turns to her, sucking in his breath. "Minji, you know your mother and I are too unfit for work... Please, we know this isn't your fault. But... you're going to need to find a job. You're our only hope if we want to stay in our home. Minji, we have no where else to go." Minji sighed and nodded. Anything for her parents. But... she was only 15. Where could she even go? Who would even want to give a job to some random girl like her? And that's how the next day, Minji found herself standing outside JYP Entertainment, feeling desperate. Her one hope of saving her parents, not to mention herself, from eviction.
