Sophie has always wanted the love of a mate bond. Being with the one person who the goddess made for you is a once in a lifetime love, but at 27 she still hasn't found him. Beginning to lose hope, she seriously considers taking a chosen mate and being done with it.

Cas is someone who has never wanted a mate. Living as a lone wolf after running from her pack she found a home in the Blue Hollow Pack but as she approaches her 25th birthday she vows that if she ever meets her mate she'll reject him on the spot.
