Years ago Sonic, Mario, Peach, and Amy helped Gawain rescue his wife and returned home to assume his throne. Now many years later Knuckles youngest daughter Rikilee has been having nightmares of a man who resembles her father. She confides her nightmares to her secret boyfriend Issac Sonic's son who thinks it might be Gawain. Yet the two are soon kidnapped By guards and brought to the world of Camelot. This makes Mario, Sonic Peach and Amy become the Knights of the wind once more to save them.
