"Holy crap", I said, staring at the huge green forest opening we were standing on. Only it wasn't a forest. Thick, lush jungle surrounded us. We were standing in a field of Heath. The smell of herbs and sweet woods and honey and something bitter was very strong in the air. Above us, the sky was yellow. "Holy Crap sounds about right", said Tyler. * It's the future. Post pandemic. A virus called A.C.I.D. has long since been defeated but mandatory tests hold place every month to assure that humanity is safe. There is nothing to worry about. The test is merely a precaution. Only... what if it isn't? 17 year old Masie Sutton gets a strange test result. Waking up in a place people soon will call the Glimmers, alongside other teens who have been brought here after the test, they set out to explore, not only what brought them here, but exactly... where is here. Soon the group of friends start to realize that they might be further away from home than originally thought. It doesn't help that Kain is one of the other guys on the Glimmers. Masie and Kain have been enemies as long as they know each other. Obnoxious, brutally honest but also kind of the most competent person on this unexpected cruise, Masie soon starts finding herself trusting the one who can't be trusted. As they dive deeper into the sickly greens of whatever planet they have landed on, all of the teens start to feel more and more that this no normal contamination zone....
