The Academy was filled with students from wealthy and influential families. They were privileged and sheltered, yet they knew hunger and hardship because of the war. Despite this, they had been raised to believe they were better than those who were less fortunate.

They saw themselves as above the rest and looked down upon those who had less. This attitude pervaded everything they did, and they behaved as if the world was theirs to do with as they pleased.

But everything changed when they were chosen as mentors for the 10th Hunger Games.
