Thea, people referred to her beauty as a goddess, but when she was turned by Amun, she was hidden for her 'protection', losing everyone she cared about. She had to watch her family die without knowing what happened to her. Amun said her power would attract the Volturi which he didn't want so he convinced her to remain hidden with Benjamin, sad thing was she never found her mate until she was standing across from him on a field.
