Description
Saint Christianson is president of his fraternity. He comes from wealth and believes money is the only way to enjoy life. Since his mother's passing, he's began to resent his trips home to see his father and new stepmother--who's only a few years older than himself. He hates Christmas even though it's his birthday and wishes the holiday would be over quickly so he can get back to partying and putting distance between himself and his "family." One drunken night at a party hosted by his house, he sees Noelle Peters, a fellow classmate. Noelle has never known the finer things in life. She's at school on a scholarship and hates every minute it puts her thousands of miles away from her mother and sister. She LOVES Christmas and having it be her birthday makes it her favorite holiday of the year. Noelle is counting down the days until she gets to fly home with the money she's saved for months. When Noelle and Saint begin to argue about the joy of Christmas, the discover they disagree about what gives the holiday its magic. Saint thinks gifts are the only saving grace, and Noelle prefers experience over materialistic items. One of her favorite traditions is the advent calendar her mom would create full of inexpensive adventures to count down until the big day. Saint suggests a bet that he can prove gifts are better than adventures, and Noelle can't resist. The two begin a 24-day low-stakes journey to discover the true magic of Christmas. Amidst their contrasting beliefs and backgrounds, they embark on a series of adventures and gift exchanges, each day unraveling new discoveries and unexpected connections. Maybe the real magic of Christmas isn't money or adventure, but the love they can find in each other.
