Neji has been dead since the fourth great ninja war. Boruto has now defeated Kawaki, and are both living a quiet life. Kawaki is on a journey to atone for his sins like Sauske. Boruto is dating Sarada, and Kawaki is with Sumire. Tenten still runs a weapons shop, and has missed Neji everyday. One day while heading back home, she stumbles upon a dark alley. There, she sees a familiar face. Neji. It has been 26 years since the fourth great ninja war. How is has he been reincarnated? Does that mean others are back? The 2 struggle to get over the social awkwardness, and learn that their old teammate/friend relationship has started to fade due to feelings on both sides.
