The hermits wake up with no knowledge of who they are, where they are, or what their doing there. In addition to this total memory loss, they soon discover that they've all woken up speaking completely different languages. With no way to understand those outside of small groups, they start to form alliances with those they understand...and rivalries with those they don't.
