Chapter 1: California Dreamin'

Six years have gone by and after going through her first true heartbreak and transferring from Duke University to Berkeley for marine sciences, Kiara Carrera has made quite a life for herself as a marine conservationist in Santa Barbara, California. That is until she has to fly back to the OBX for Pope and Cleo's wedding, where she will have to see JJ for the first time since their painful break-up.
