The Mission and the New Alicorns

Princess Twilight Sparkle deemed them worthy to become alicorns. Three ponies become alicorns before the last Princess of Old disappeared. Picnic Daffodil, Cinder Loveheart, and Knightflash are the chosen three. What is their mission? They don't know, Princess Twilight told them they needed to find a new type of magic. Together they form a family of lonely misfit ponies from across Equestria hoping to succeed and compete their mission. Will they succeed or will they be looking forever?
