Description
The convoy reaches the bridge. It is the most dangerous part of the route. Only a few people know the route, but Violet is sure that they will be attacked here. The wagon drives onto the bridge. The night is dark. There is no signal. The rain is pattering on her cloak. Violet feels as if she is being watched... Meanwhile, Meia has been loaded into the carriage and has the pleasure of meeting her mistress. But the queen is different from what she expected. She is even worse. Her mood is constantly jumping between extremes and Meia doesn't know when to laugh or if she should cry. All Meia wants is to make it back out of the carriage with her head on her shoulders, but instead she achieves goals she didn't even have... Is the queen a madwoman? Is that why she was sent away? Where is the convoy heading? And will it even get there?
