Description
In the lavish world of 1970s high society, Madeline, once a poor relation, captivates the attention of a politician's son. Their story takes a sharp turn when Madeleine, now pregnant and abandoned, concocts a husband, Bill Shakespeare, to shield herself from societal judgement. Unexpectedly, a real Bill Shakespeare, seeking an escape from his entitled "girlfriend", stumbles into the charade. As the two navigate a dance of mistaken identities, bell-bottoms, and disco beats, they discover that love, laughter, and a touch of Shakespearean drama might just rewrite the rules of family and happiness in a judgemental society that never quite understood them.
