Description
In a world covered by endless sky... people are forced to eke out a living on floating continents and islands. No one knows why the land masses float. What they do know is that 10,000 feet below them is a depthless layer of cloud covering the entire planet from which nothing and no one has ever returned from. Nevertheless, the people of this planet went through all the necessary stages of technological development to reach a great and grand industrial age. With this new age came a mass global emphasis on air travel and diesel engine power. The modern zeppelin has become the fulcrum from which nearly all things in society rely on. From air travel to cargo to modern warfare, the zeppelin is the great metal beast of burden which can bear it all. It was the zeppelin that opened up the world and connected the people via the skies. The world at the time wasn't ready for such a great connection of people so rapidly. A Great Sky War erupted which saw untold amounts of bullets, bombs, and violence explode across every floating island, continent, and nation across the world. When all the dust settled only seven major powers remained under a tense peace that could unravel with the slightest spark. For Roland Blackburn, a tough as nails fighter pilot of the weakest power, the United Colonial Islands, stopping that spark means everything. Unfortunately, his task may be impossible.
