Haunted by a fall that she's certain was no accident, April Williams has been touched by death.

The experience left her with memories of a mournful angel and a sensation that something dark lurks hidden within the shadows. For her, there is only one way to move on: she needs answers.

It's during a normal trip to her aunt's that she may have just gotten her wish.

What seems like an ordinary visit soon leads to the reappearance of the mysterious angel. But that's not all: he happens to claim he has a past with her. A long one. It only becomes obvious that whatever occurred between them is better left behind, when April feels the same dark presence closing in on her once more.

With danger quickly approaching and time not on her side, April has to figure out the connection between it all in order to save herself, before it's too late...
