Prologue

Bently has to leave Arcadia City when heaven and hell find out Malik and Bently have been seen together. Malik has Cain take Bently to Graycott, a small town in Georgia, far away from the war that has now begun between the angels and the demons. Once he's sure Bently is safe, Cain goes back to Arcadia City to fight in the war. Once the war is over, Malik goes to Graycott to break some bad news, Cain was killed in the war and Arcadia City was destroyed. And he tells Bently something in secret; the two can't be together. Well, technically they can, they just can't be seen in public. The two agree to be together in secret, and decide to build a new home in Graycott so they can live together in peace and privacy. But when hell finds out about Malik and Bently, and Lucifer curses Malik, things go downhill fast.
