The Preacher in the Park 1

A small town, a minor celebrity murdered, and a summer night turned mysterious, all add up to the latest case for Detective Gil Stanton and her new partner Sergeant Priyam Chawla of the NYS Troopers Bureau of Criminal Investigation. The victim is a former Broadway actor Thomas Foley-Howarth, and his husband, neighbors, and a few less than welcoming fellow Town of Franklin citizens are all suspects in his death. The steamy night fills with questions that the cold, intelligent Stanton is determined to find answers to, while Chawla learns to navigate his way through her antagonizing methods and build rapport with the grieving community.
