Like all of his people, Atzin Aric Nasan uses telekinetic powers based on the periodic table of elements. He believes he will spend his life on Nasan, mastering his abilities and preparing to become head of the 100 World Alliance. Instead, he is dispatched to Praxis, a strange planet an entire galaxy away with instructions to uncover a secret plot that if enacted, will destabilize hundreds of years of peace.
