The Gao'uld have brought many different peoples of earth to the stars long ago. one Goa'uld was overthrown by his Jaffa. after which they used their technology to build up their society but not in time. a rival had heard of this uprising and destroyed the planet surface. all that remains of those people are divided and trying to survive a radiation filled waste land. Now SG1 must investigate why a probe thought originally lost is sending a signal back.
